I was born in West Union, Illinois in 1939.  Although I did not grow up in a Christian home, I became a Christian early in life in December 1950.  Phyllis, my wife, and I were married in 1960.  We have two adult children and five grandchildren.  Eric and his family live in Cloverdale, CA.  Trici and her family live in Parkland, FL.  

     I served as an elder in Springfield, VA from 1981 until 1987 when Phyllis and I moved to upstate New York where I served as an elder at the Wetzel Road Church of Christ in Liverpool from 1992 until 1996 when we moved to Manassas.  

     I have served as an elder here at Manassas since March 2006.
