OUR DIVINE DETERMINATION

THE INTRODUCTION

Paul said, "And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto your the testimony of God. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified" (1 Corinthians 1:1-2). Now, in being New Testament Christians, we must have the proper determine in this life so that we can overcome the powers of Satan who is our Adversary. Therefore, we should serve the Lord our God so that we can enjoy the Spiritual Blessings of New Testament Christianity in this life. Remember: All Scriptures which are used in this article will be taken from the King James Version of the Bible.

THE MANDATE FOR OUR DETERMINATION

1. We should determine that God, who is our Creator, is the being of three Equal Persons who are called the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit in matters of our own creation of life because God in being the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit created our own body., Soul and Spirit free of sin when we were born upon the earth.

This was why God said, "Let us (who are the Heavenly Persons that are called by the Name of God) make man in our image, after our likeness. So God created man in his own image", i. e. of life (Genesis 1:26-27). This was what John said concerning those three Heavenly Persons who equally are called by the Divine Name of God in matters of our own creation of life, "For there are three (Persons) that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit: and these three (Persons) are one" (equal) in matters of Their Own Individual Nature of life because They equally possess the same Personage, Powers, Nature and Attributes of the one and only God (1 John 5:7). This was what Moses said concerning the oneness (the equality) of God, "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord" (Deuteronomy 6:4). This was what Paul said concerning the Divine Name of God, "Of whom (God) the whole family in heaven and earth is named" (Ephesians 3:15).

2. We must determine that Christ, who is our Redeemer, was made to be the being of three Equal Persons who are called the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in matters of our own redemption of life because those three God-Persons, who are called the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit in being our Creator, did equally made Themselves to work in the Divine Name of Christ in being called the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit so that They could be our Redeemer.

This was why, "The Lord (God) said unto my Lord (Jesus Christ after He was raised from the grave), sit thou on my right hand, until I make the foes thy footstool. Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that the Lord God (who was the being of the Father and the Holy Spirit in heaven) hath made that same Jesus (who was the Incarnated Word upon the earth), whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ" (Acts 2:34-36). So then, Jesus (who was made both Lord and Christ in being our Redeemer) made Christ to be the Divine Name (the being) of three Equal Persons are called the Father, Himself in being the Son, and the Holy Spirit in being our Redeemer. This was achieved when Jesus said, "Go teach all nations, baptizing them (into Christ by baptizing them) in the name (which means by the authority) of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit" so that they become a New Testament Christian by obeying the Gospel of Christ (Matthew 28:18-20).

THE REASONS FOR OUR DETERMINATION

1. We are accountable for that which we do in this life because God has appointed a day in which the world will be judged. "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead" (Acts 17:30-31).

2. We will be eternally rewarded for that which we do in this life because every man must received a just recompense of reward. "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may received the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad" (2 Corinthians 5:10).

THE MANNER OF OUR DETERMINATION

1. We should not determine anything which would be contrary to the will of God because that would displease Him. "And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hath provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God" (Luke 12:16-21).

2. We should determine what the will of God is to the best of our knowledge and ability because that would please Him. "Go to now, ye that say, Today or tomorrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life It is even a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin" (James 4:13-17).

THE BLESSINGS OF OUR DETERMINATION

1. If we determine to serve the Lord our God in this life, it would fulfill the purpose of our own creation of life. "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil" (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14).

2. If we determine to serve the Lord our God in this life, we would be given a crown of life. "For I (Paul) am ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to my only, but unto all them also that love his appearing" (2 Timothy 4:6-8).

THE CONCLUSION

1. If we want to develop the Proper Determination in our own being of life upon the earth, we must be willing to learn that the damnable heresies of the Sectarian World is what makes a Ranked Hierarchy to rule in a religious way upon the earth because they simply make the Clergy and the Laity Class of persons to exist in their man-made churches.

2. The New Testament Church of Christ must Scripturally teach that a Ranked Hierarchy can not rule in the Lord's Church upon the earth because each congregation of the New Testament Church must be autonomous (self-ruled), and under the leadership of its own qualified elders or bishops. For an example:

THE RELIGIOUS INSANITY OF A RANKED HIERARCHY
THE FALSE DOCTRINES OF THE SECTARIAN WORLD
Our Lord said, "Ye do err not knowing the Scriptures nor the Power of God" (Matthew 22:29).

1. A Ranked Hierarchy can not
