"We are very involved in this matter and can report that we have brethren already carrying out relief work." This is a recent statement from Jerris Bullard, part of the team of Jerris and Juanita Bullard who have been working full time for India Programs for many years. The team spend half of their time in the US raising needed funds, and the other half in India. Support for their effort is constantly needed, but now that many of those they work with in India are assisting those on the coast, an even greater need has arrisen. We are very involved by telephone and email with a number of the Indian bretheren who are on the scene. There have oly been 3 bretheren who are known to have perished. Of course, as more brethern report to us, we fear there will be more, but as of December 31, 2004 this is the news from about 100 congregations. Many bretheren lost their houses, huts, all household goods, food, and clothing. Thousands of water wells are ruined due to the pressure of the Tsunami forcing salt water into the delecate balance that exited between the water tables of the seabed and that of the fresh water table. The poor farmers along the coastal area have lost their fertile famlands, which are now covered with salty seawater. Also on many farms the topsoil has been washed away. There is an urgent need for help for the Bretheren. You may make your inquiries about greater details at our church office, or send contributions for our Tsunami relief effort here:

Below is a listing of projects that Jerris and Juanita Bullard are involved in. This List is not exaustive, but gives you an idea of the range of work going on constantly in India.
- Evangelistic preaching and home Bible studies with non-members.
- Village evangelism -- evangelistic preaching to Hindus and denominational churches
- Kate Cabe Memorial Bible Institute -- our preacher training school where more that 3,500 men attend bible classes one day per week. We have about 350 campuses of KCMBI in 8 states and in 9 languages.
- Supplying native Indian preachers with needed tools to preach the gospel to their own people (such as bicycles, New Testaments, Bibles, Bible filmstrip projectors).
- Special preacher assistance -- we help with medical bills and benevolence for needy Indian preachers.
- Follow-up work with new as well as older congregations to build strong, lasting work, including assistance with construction of church buildings.
- Free medical clinic -- medical care for preachers and their families (as well as other Christians).
- India Bible School -- (similar to World Bible School) in 7 different languages.
- Printing Gospel literature of various kinds in several Indian languages, as well as in English.
- Harvey Cabe Memorial Children's Home -- 3 homes in 3 different areas of Andhra Pradesh, providing physical and spiritual care for more that 140 children.
- Gospel film teams -- showing a full length motion picture (produced in India) about the life of Christ in various languages. Since India produces more motion pictures per year that any other country in the world (700 to 1,000 per year), this has proven to be very effective (through 1994 over 20,000 people have been converted using this film) along with follow-up evangelistic meetings.
- Haslam-Fulford Memorial Preachers' Lectures are held annually in selected cities for intensive training, especially for newly converted preachers and key leaders in the Lord's church.
- Denominational preachers' seminar -- designed to reach denominational preachers who show an interest in learning about the church of the New Testament.
- Intensive Preacher Training School -- a 3 month school, conducted in Surypet (in the state of Andrha Pradesh). Each session sees 25 former denominational preachers trained and grounded in the New Testament and Restoration principles.
- Women Helping Women -- a program designed to help women learn a skill to help provide for their families. This gives us opportunities to reach women (and their families) who normally would not come to Gospel meetings -- such as Hindus and Muslims.
- Karen Primary School -- for poor children in a slum area of Hyderabad who are unable to attend school, because their parents do not have funds to send them to school. This creates opportunities to lead precious souls to Christ.
- Jail Ministry -- teaching inmates in various prisons in Andhra Pradesh, and distributing printed materials and Bibles.
